Vedia advises clients on a wide range of international trade matters, including economic sanctions (OFAC), export controls (ITAR and EAR); national security controls on investment in US entities (CFIUS); antiboycott matters; antidumping, countervailing duty and safeguard actions before the US International Trade Commission and the US Department of Commerce; trade policy issues such as free trade agreement negotiations; customs matters; and transactional due diligence.
Prior to joining Fenwick, Vedia was an associate at two global law firms, where she counseled clients on compliance and legal and business risk considerations related to US economic sanctions, export controls, antiboycott, national security controls on foreign investment, imports, and other trade-related laws and regulations.
