Horace Nash concentrates his practice on public offerings, public company counseling on governance and disclosure matters, mergers and acquisitions for his public company clients, and a wide range of securities law matters.

For example, Horace counsels venture-backed private companies on the range of corporate and securities law issues they face in an initial public offering. For public company clients, he provides on-going general corporate and Board-level legal support, leads capital-raising transactions, and counsels on sensitive disclosure or compliance issues. Horace also advises investment banks serving as underwriters in IPOs and follow-on offerings. He recently represented a Beijing-based data analytics company in its IPO on Nasdaq. Horace served Concur Technologies in its 1998 IPO, throughout its life as a public company, and through its landmark sale to SAP for $8.3 billion. Horace has represented companies in industries such as the advertising technology, consulting, contract manufacturing, data analytics, eCommerce, enterprise software, food, industrial equipment, Internet, mobile Internet, networking equipment, retail, SaaS and semiconductor industries. He has led a wide variety of securities transactions, including many IPOs, public offerings of debt and equity securities, Rule 144A convertible note and high-yield debt offerings, shelf registrations and PIPE transactions. Horace is a frequent speaker on corporate governance and securities law developments.

Horace has been selected as a Northern California "Super Lawyer" in the areas of Securities & Corporate Finance and Corporate Governance & Compliance each year since 2006.

Prior to law school, Horace studied for a year at Beijing University.​
