Shen Zhang focuses his practice on start-ups and venture capital financing, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters for companies in the high technology industries.
Prior to joining Fenwick & West, Shen worked as an associate in the Palo Alto office of an international law firm where his practice focused on start-up companies and venture capital financing, including series equity financing, note financing, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence and advising on general corporate matters for start-up companies. Prior to that, Shen worked in the Beijing office of an international law firm advising clients on cross-border mergers and acquisitions and foreign direct investment.
While in law school, Shen was the Executive Articles Selection Editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law. Shen also interned for the Honorable Judge John T. Nixon in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee.
