Wei Qun E is a U.S. lawyer advising Chinese companies doing business in the United States on business law and dispute resolution. She has been representing Chinese companies since 1994 both in private practice and as an in-house legal counsel (general manager of the international legal department of BYD) before joining Fenwick & West. She has managed significant U.S. IP litigation cases for Chinese companies, including BYD and AAC. Ms. E has gained valuable insights into working with Chinese companies, and understands the cultural differences between China and the United States. She has substantial experience in managing complex transactions and litigations for Chinese companies.

Ms. E was born in China and was admitted for the first college class (Class of 77) in China after the Chinese Cultural Revolution. She studied law at UC Hastings after coming to the United States where she received her JD.
Ms. E is active in community affairs. She serves on the board of directors of Chinese American Lawyers of the Bay Area (CALOBA). She was the Chief Executive of Chinese Enterprise Association (CEA), and a board member of and legal counsel for the North America Chinese Semiconductor Association (NACSA) and the Silicon Valley Chinese Engineer Association (SCEA).
Ms. E resides in California and regularly travels to China. She is fluent in Mandarin and English.
