Fenwick & West represented the founders of lynda.com, Inc., an online learning company teaching business, technology and creative skills, in its recently announced acquisition by LinkedIn Corporation (NYSE:LNKD), the leading professional network. The transaction is valued at approximately $1.5 billion, subject to adjustment, in a combination of approximately 52 percent cash and approximately 48 percent LinkedIn common stock.
