Fenwick & West represented Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. (NYSE: BIO and BIOb), a global provider of life science research and clinical diagnostic products, in its definitive agreement to purchase RainDance Technologies, Inc., a life science tools company. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition will extend Bio-Rad’s reach into next generation sequencing applications and strengthen their position in the area of Droplet Digital PCR.
