Fenwick Represents Carta in $300 Million Series E Financing

Fenwick & West represented Carta, Inc., builder of an ownership network that changes how assets are acquired, valued and transacted, in its $300 million Series E financing. The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz, and includes Lightspeed Venture Partners and Goldman Sachs Principal Strategic Investments. Previous investors including Tribe Capital, Menlo Ventures and Meritech, as well as new investors Tiger Global Management and Thrive Capital, also participated in the round. As part of the investment, Marc Andreessen is joining Carta’s board of directors.
