Fenwick & West represented FanDuel Inc., the largest one-day fantasy sports operator, in its acquisition of numberFire, Inc., the next generation sports analytics platform that uses proprietary statistics to mine for unprecedented insights that predict player and team performance. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition will allow numberFire’s proprietary information to eventually be incorporated into FanDuel’s platform to increase user engagement and expand on product offerings for users. More information about FanDuel’s acquisition of numberFire can be obtained from the company press release.
