Fenwick & West represented Glu Mobile Inc. (NASDAQ: GLUU), a leading global developer and publisher of free-to-play games for smartphone and tablet devices, in its recently announced agreement to acquire Cie Games, Inc., creators of Racing Rivals, the leading racing franchise on iOS and Android. Glu agreed to pay total consideration of approximately $100 million, made up of approximately $30 million in cash and approximately $70 million in shares of the company's common. Glu expects the acquisition to close by the end of August 2014.
