Fenwick was named Americas Technology M&A Law Firm of the Year at Global M&A Network’s 2020 Americas M&A Atlas Awards.
This is the seventh time in six years that Fenwick has earned a Tech Law Firm of the Year award for the firm’s M&A work.
Fenwick was also recognized with three 2020 Deal of the Year awards:
- Deal of the Year in the large deals category for representing Dermira, a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to bringing biotech ingenuity to medical dermatology, in its approximately $1.1 billion acquisition by Eli Lilly and Company.
- Consumer Goods & Services M&A Deal of the Year in the middle market category for representing Etsy, a global marketplace for unique and creative goods, in its $275 million acquisition of Reverb Holdings, a marketplace for new, used and vintage music gear.
- Middle Markets Deal of the Year
in the $100-250 million category for representing Chegg, a leading student-first connected learning platform, in its approximately $100 million acquisition of math solver Mathway.
In addition to its M&A Atlas honors, the firm’s M&A group consistently receives recognition from other leading publications including Chambers USA and The Legal 500.
