Fenwick was recognized as the top law firm in the western United States by Euromoney Legal Media Group at the Women in Business Law Americas Awards. Additionally, for the seventh consecutive year, the firm was also named North America’s best for mentoring, and this year, was also named North America’s best firm for talent management.
Two Fenwick lawyers also received special honors on the Women in Business Law list.
Corporate partner Bomi Lee was named Best in Technology for her work representing leading technology innovators in mergers and acquisitions and other complex strategic transactions, including investments, divestitures and carve-out transactions. Her recent deals include handling Symantec’s sale of its enterprise security asses for $10.7 billion to Broadcom, NortonLifeLock’s $375 million sale of ID Analytics to LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Cisco’s sale of its self-organizing network business to HCL Technologies, Coinbase’s acquisition of Tagomi and Square’s acquisition of Stitch Labs.
Additionally, tax lawyer Ariel Love earned recognition as this year’s Tax Rising Star. Love advises clients on a broad variety of domestic and international tax planning and tax controversy matters, with an emphasis on international tax planning (inbound and outbound), restructurings, and mergers and acquisitions. She regularly represents clients from a diverse set of industries and geographic areas, including a number of Fortune 500 companies.
Euromoney’s Women in Business Law Americas Awards recognize leading women for their contributions to the practice of business law, along with the firms that have developed the most progressive initiatives towards diversity and inclusion throughout the continent.
