Alicia manages a team of attorneys and specialists in support of the firm’s knowledge management and innovation goals. This includes participating in the design of new processes and business models, vetting cutting-edge legal technology, and streamlining group knowledge-sharing processes. She frequently assists in the implementation of cross-functional projects designed to increase the accessibility of information both within the firm and between the firm and its clients.
She speaks and writes on topics related to legal technology and legal operations, specifically the use of artificial intelligence in law practices and legal departments.
Prior to moving into knowledge management, Alicia was a corporate attorney at Fenwick and at another Am Law 100 firm. Her representative experience as an attorney includes:
- Representation of public and private companies, as well as investment funds, in domestic and cross-border acquisitions and equity investments
- Representation of various startup clients in raising venture funding and in ongoing corporate matters such as commercial contract review, employment issues, review of NDA’s and contractor agreements and negotiation of credit/loan agreements
