Diana counsels clients on intellectual property matters and structuring, drafting and negotiating commercial transactions in the software, new media and Internet industries. She assists clients on copyright issues, including registration, recordation, ownership, assignment, infringement, fair use and the development of integrated copyright programs. Diana drafts and negotiates celebrity endorsement agreements and advises clients with the legal issues that arise when running sweepstakes, contests and promotions. She also counsels clients on the intellectual property aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and venture capital and strategic investments.
Diana clerked for the Honorable Harry L. Hupp of the United States District Court for the Central District of California and served as an extern for the Honorable John T. Noonan, Jr., of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She was the managing editor of the Berkeley Technology Law Journal and a member of the California Law Review.
