Fiona is an experienced litigator who has represented plaintiffs and defendants in a number of high-profile cases. Her practice currently focuses on securities litigation and investigations, as well as privacy-related class actions. Fiona has represented an array of technology companies in complex commercial disputes involving contracts, regulatory compliance, trade secret misappropriation and antitrust. She has been a core team member in a number of high-stakes cases, including representing clients in jury and bench trials at the federal level. In addition to her litigation practice, Fiona has advised on numerous regulatory matters for companies in the telecommunications, education, healthcare and energy industries.
Fiona leads an active pro bono practice, and has successfully won full custody for a domestic violence survivor in family court. She also recently won asylum for a Guatemalan genocide survivor in a proceeding before the San Francisco Immigration Court.
