Fenwick Represents Haven Entertainment Studios in Agreement to Be Acquired by Sony Interactive Entertainment

Fenwick represented Haven Entertainment Studios, a Montreal-based development studio, in its agreement to be acquired by Sony Interactive Entertainment, the interactive and digital entertainment company responsible for the PlayStation brand and family of products and services.

Haven Entertainment Studios will be the 18th studio to join the PlayStation Studios family and the first Canadian-based game development team to create a new AAA modern multiplayer game for PlayStation. More information can be obtained from the company’s announcement.

The Fenwick transaction team included corporate partners Mark Stevens and Scott Behar and associates Matt McCabe and Brandon Johnson; technology transactions partner Joseph Schenck and associate Peter Hart; executive compensation and employee benefits partner Matt Cantor; trademark partner Mark Jansen and associate Anne Marie Longobucco; and tax partner Adam Halpern.
