Eugene concentrates on strategic and practical business counseling for technology and life sciences companies, as well as venture capital firms and strategic investors.
Eugene routinely advises his company clients on all corporate matters, ranging from transactions such as equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, formations and reorganizations to corporate governance and day-to-day issues, including employment and equity compensation matters. He advises his investor clients on transactions across a wide variety of investment structures, with substantial experience in international investments and corporate venture capital.
Prior to joining Fenwick, Eugene was an associate at a large, multinational law firm where he represented public companies, financial institutions, private equity funds, sovereign governments and state-owned enterprises in a variety of matters including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged finance transactions, capital markets transactions and restructurings, with a particular focus on cross-border matters.
