Ron is a trusted advisor to public companies on a variety of complex corporate matters, including corporate governance, securities law, shareholder engagement and proxy solicitation. Ron regularly provides clients guidance with regards to voting guidelines of proxy advisory firms and institutional investors in relation to company and shareholder meeting proposals.
Prior to joining Fenwick, Ron was Managing Director at Georgeson, LLC. He was also the Director of Content and Product Initiatives, Securities and Capital Markets at LexisNexis, where he oversaw the development of the Capital Markets & Corporate Governance module for its Lexis Practice Advisor product. He has also served as Associate General Counsel at Saks Incorporated and Corporate Counsel at MasterCard Incorporated and began his legal career as a corporate associate in the New York office of a leading international law firm.
Ron is a certified corporate governance professional by the Society for Corporate Governance.
