Fenwick Represents Cisco in its Acquisition of Lancope

Fenwick & West represented Cisco Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CSCO), the worldwide leader in networking, in its acquisition of Lancope, Inc., a privately held network security company. Under the terms of the agreement, Cisco will pay $452.5 million in cash and assumed equity awards, plus additional retention based incentives for Lancope employees who join Cisco. The acquisition is expected to close in the second quarter of fiscal year 2016, subject to customary closing conditions including regulatory review.
