Fenwick represented JetZero, a U.S.-based start-up airplane maker designing the world’s first commercial all-wing airplane, in its $175 million Series B financing. The round was led by B Capital with participation from United Airlines Ventures, Northrop Grumman, 3M Ventures, and RTX Ventures.
JetZero will use the funds to accelerate the development of its full-size Demonstrator, a prototype designed to achieve at least 30% improved aerodynamics compared to traditional tube and wing aircraft. More information can be obtained from the company announcement.
The Fenwick transaction team was led by corporate partners Morgan Sawchuk and Michael Brown and included associates Evan McCormick and Raffi Terteryan; and technology transactions partner Andrew Klungness and associate Kristen Freitas.
