Crain’s Names Fenwick One of the Best Places to Work in New York City for Second Consecutive Year

Fenwick has been named one of Crain’s 2020 Best Places to Work in New York City for the second consecutive year. This annual list recognizes companies that have built and maintained a positive corporate culture and workplace experience.

Fenwick placed in the top 10 and was the top-ranked law firm on the list of 100 best places to work in New York City by Crain’s.

Fenwick’s New York office opened in 2016 to better serve the area’s technology, life sciences and investment communities. Fenwick now has more than 70 lawyers and 40 additional professionals located in its Flatiron district offices.

The New York office is an integrated part of Fenwick’s nationwide footprint of more than 400 lawyers, serving clients in the technology and life sciences sectors.

Navigating an Unprecedented Year

During this year’s public health crisis, Fenwick provided additional support for employees in its six offices. Since transitioning to a fully remote work environment in March 2020, the firm has rolled out a work-from-home stipend, enhanced wellness benefits, and a working parents program with a tutoring and childcare stipend to assist with remote schooling, among other enhancements.

The firm also supported its people and community in responding to major events affecting our society this year. Fenwick launched Action for Change during the summer of 2020 as a commitment to furthering the equal justice movement; the program has included a Race, Equity and Justice educational series as well as opportunities for pro bono and community service. Fenwick also launched an 11-week voting rights initiative, with Election Day as a public service holiday, to encourage voter participation and volunteering.
